Australian weekly magazine FAMOUS announced the launch of the 'BUSTED GETTING FAMOUS' campaign, a first in Australia. The campaign will run across a four week period in news agents.

"'BUSTED GETTING FAMOUS' execution directly invites point of sale and social media interaction with FAMOUS," said FAMOUS Editor In Chief Gereurd Roberts."

Roberts further said: "The promotion plays on FAMOUS' key brand values of celebrity, fun and innovation and offers a unique way for our readers to further engage with Australia's fastest growing weekly magazine."

Launched yesterday, the campaign calls on consumers to find the life-size celebrity mug shot point-of-sale stand in their local news agency, take a photo of themselves inside the head cut-out, and upload it to Facebook.com/famousmagazine for a chance to win $5,000 'bail money'.
