‘The Witcher 3’ Blood and Wine release date allegedly outed, quest filled with stories and songs hinted
CD Projekt Red has been quiet regarding the release of the next expansion for “The Witcher 3.” Some fans have, instead, spotted a few possible clues to involving the release date and the possible content of the expansion.
One clue was potentially provided by GRYOnline, a known Polish gaming website. It had listed a release date of June 7 for “The Witcher 3” Blood and Wine DLC. This mimics CD Projekt Red’s promise of a release for the DLC in the first half of the year, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
As far as the content is concerned, the developer previously hinted that the Blood and Wine DLC will also be a conclusion to the journey of Geralt in “The Witcher 3.” Now, an interview sighted by WCCF Tech had given a few hints as to the content of the expansion. Here, there was a hint about a quest that had “songs, poetry and short stories.”
Filip Ženíšek, a translator for “The Witcher 3,” had stated that the quest had kept most of the essence of the quest’s translation in the verses. This means all of the references, jokes and language gimmicks. For characters, Ženíšek did not reveal any new ones or hinted to one, but also stated that there are characters who did not speak the normal Czech language for translation.
As a translator, he also did see the beauty of translating the language of Toussaint. This was thanks to the atmosphere of the territory, which was all about honour, tournaments, and knights. It seems that the language even mimicked that of old fairy tale and history books, which gives the vibe of the chivalry and gallantry of happy ever after.
This will be an interesting take on “The Witcher 3.” CD Projekt Red has not yet confirmed any details when it comes to the next expansion. Most of these new details, especially the release date, should be taken with a grain of salt.
Previously, another claim from Attack of the Fanboy had pegged an April 26 release date for “The Witcher 3” Blood and Wine expansion. For now, until CD Projekt Red confirms any dates, it’s best to be on the watch for it.
