Australian actress Margot Robbie flat-out lied to her family about her nude scene in the film “The Wolf of Wall Street.” The 23-year-old Gold Coast native told her family that she did not strip down naked for the Martin Scorsese film when in fact she did.

The former “Neighbours” star admitted to the titular host of the U.S. late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” that her nude scenes in the film was a point of contention with her family.

“I just flat-out lied to my family for a really long time, and I said, ‘I don’t care what you hear, there is no nudity. I’m not doing any nudity. Ignore everything anyone’s saying. There’s no nudity,” she said.

“Then I thought the movie is going to come out and they’re going to see that there’s nudity. So I changed that, and the lie evolved to: ‘Well, actually there’s a body double and they just CGI’d my head onto someone else,’” she continued, adding that her family totally bought her lie.

“Eventually I came clean. I was like, “Okay look, I’m doing nudity. But you should read the book first, and if you still want to see the movie after reading the book, okay.’”

As Kimmel described her appearance in the movie, she was “very naked” in it. But nude scenes aren’t sexy all the time, though, at least when it comes to filming sex scenes.

Robbie described her steamy sex scene with co-star Leonard DiCaprio in the finally as “the least romantic thing.”

“The whole thing ended up being quite comical,” she told NY Post’s Page Six, referring to her love scene with DiCaprio which involves a barking dog on the bed with them.

“We [had to] entice this dog to jump in the bed and bite at Leo’s feet... so we had dog trainers at the end of the bed [with] dog treats... we’re putting chicken liver on Leo’s toes. We’re in a small room, it’s hot, it’s sweaty, it smells like dog food.”

“The Wolf of Wall Street” opened in U.S. theatres on December 25. DiCaprio already won the Best Actor – International at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award on Friday.
