'The Wolf of Wall Street' Star Margot Robbie Set to Film 'Z for Zachariah' with Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor [WATCH VIDEOS]

"The Wolf of Wall Street" star Margot Robbie is reportedly set to film the movie adaptation of the book "Z for Zachariah" by Robert C. O'Brien with Chris Pine ("Star Trek") and Chiwetel Ejiofor ("12 Years A Slave"). Amanda Seyfried was supposed to play the role of 16-year-old heroine Ann Burden, but she has opted out of the project and Robbie stepped in to replace her.

"Z for Zachariah" will be 23-year-old Robbie's first lead role in a Hollywood film after being a co-star to several actors and actresses including Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Wolf of Wall Street," Rachel McAdams in "About Time," and Will Smith in "Focus."

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the movie deal was finalized on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. Parts of the movie may be filmed in New Zealand.

Craig Zobel who is known for directing the films "Compliance," "Homestarrunner.com: Everything Else, Volume 2" and "Great World of Sound" will direct the film adaptation of "Z for Zachariah." According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), "Z for Zachariah" Ejiofor will play the role of Loomis in the film. Pine's role has not been announced as of this writing.

Robbie is an Australian actress who started her acting career in the Australian TV drama series "City Homicide." She played the role of Caitlin Brentford. After appearing in several TV series in Australia including "Review with Myles Barlow" and "The Elephant Princess," she went on to star in films such as "Vigilante" and "I.C.U."

Then, she got her big break when she was cast in the long running Australian soap opera "Neighbours." After that, she starred in the U.S. TV series about flight attendants "Pan Am." She co-starred with Christina Ricci in the show which ran from 2011-2012.

Robbie jumped from the small screen to the big screen again by appearing in the 2013 film "About Time." Then, she starred in "The Wolf of Wall Street" which put her on the Hollywood spotlight of stars to watch out for.

She was at the recently concluded Golden Globe awards with her "The Wolf of Wall Street" co-star Jonah Hill and while they were presenting, the teleprompter failed to work properly.

"I've never done this before, so I don't want to improvise," said Robbie in the Golden Globe awards clip

Aside from "Z for Zachariah" and "Focus," Robbie will also star in "Suite Francaise" with Michelle Williams and Kristin Scott Thomas and in "Violent Talent" with Garrett Hedlund and Ray Liotta. According to News.com.au, Robbie might appear in the film "Tarzan" with Alexander Skarsgard ("True Blood") and Samuel L. Jackson.
