The Woman In Black Terrorizes in a Whole New Trailer [Video]
Daniel Radcliffe brings terror to a whole new level with the third trailer of "The Woman In Black."
Directed by James Watkin, the film is based on Susan Hill's novel sure to make viewers jump out of their seats - literally. With the third trailer released, it shows 60 seconds of pure terror and a quick history of the Eel Marsh House that will leave the audience hairs standing on end.
From Harry Potter to Hammer Horror, Daniel Radcliffe proves he can cast an even greater spell on his fans around the world.
Radcliffe bags the lead role in the film playing the young lawyer from London, Arthur Kipps. A widower and a father, Daniel leaves his son in London to head to an isolated village in Crythin Gifford where he is to attend to the affairs of Alice Drablow.
Alice Drablow on the other hand, played by Alisa Khazanova, is the deceased owner of the house on the marsh where Daniel Radcliffe's character later discovers the resentful ghoul that haunts it. The trailer features a better glimpse of the house's interiors full of ridiculous dolls and creepy ornaments enough to add a more intense feel to the film.
Aside from the only appealing highlight to the horror film, Daniel Radcliffe, "Kick-Ass" writer Jane Goldman wrote the script. Fans of the exquisite writer should expect her unique way of story-telling combined with Hammer Horror's fondness in creating hit haunted house movies to set nerves on edge and give that overriding sense of fear.
That being said, what does the main character have to say about the film himself?
"I would call it a character-driven horror film, along the line of The Orphanage or The Others," says Daniel. "It's slow-burning and it's very, very scary."
With three trailers already release, CBS has definitely achieved their desired effect on viewers. The Woman In Black hits the big screen on February 3, 2012 in the U.S and on February 10, 2012 in the U.K.
For now, watch the latest trailer and see how far bravery can take you. Better get that blanket ready.
