A woman came forward to take claims on the fortune of the late billionaire Richard Pratt.

Madison Ashton, believed to be a model from Sydney who also works in the adult entertainment industry, filed her claims in the New South Wales Supreme Court.

Details of the claim will be released Friday after Leon Zwier files a defence with the court. Zwier, From Arnold Bloch Liebler in Melbourne, is the lawyer representing the Pratt estate.

According to a report on Channel Nine's A Current Affair, Ms Ashton was "well-known" to Mr Pratt and his former mistress Shari-Lea Hitchcock.

An ACA report says that Mr Pratt had persuaded Ms Ashton into leaving the adult entertainment industry. The report also said that he was allegedly supporting her through their "financial agreement" that was detailed in an email.

Fairfax tried to get in touch with Fred David, Ms Ashton's representative, but the lawyer did not return calls.

Ms Hitchcock said she was unaware of Ms Ashton's claims. She and her daughter are already involved in a legal claim for the Pratt estate.

Ms Hitchock and her daughter filed a civil case against Jeanne, Pratt's widow, who is the executor of the state. The document writes that 12-year-old Paula ''is a person to whom the deceased owed a responsibility'' and ''claims to have been left without adequate provision for her proper maintenance and support and claims such provision as the court thinks fit should be made for her out of the estate of the deceased''.

Mr Pratt was said to have left Paula with $22.8 million, which she will receive when she turns 21. This is in addition to the $5.7 million worth of shares that will be controlled by a trust company, a $5 million home in Watson's Bay in Sydney and a NSW south coast farm.
