Woman With Diabetes Arrested For Serving Milk Infused With Her Dead Skin Shavings
A woman was arrested on Wednesday for lacing milk with dead skin shavings prior to serving it to her relatives. The 56-year old woman from Maryland was identified as Sarah Schrock.
The victims of Schrock were Jessica Whitney Hurry and Allison Depriest, who were served with the contaminated drink at the accused’s home in Mechanicsville on Monday, reported Southern Maryland Newspapers Online. Depriest was the first to exhibit symptoms of contamination as she instantly choked and expelled the foreign substances, which she thought were shavings of human skin. Hurry was also reported to have gagged shortly after Depriest, and was appalled to see that skin shavings were indeed present in the beverage after running it through a strainer.
The cops were informed and responded on Wednesday, leading to Schrock's arrest in a motel room in Charlotte Hall. The offender was later charged with food contamination and second-degree assault on her two victims. Furthermore, she was also condemned for violating a protective order that involved her full non-contact with Hurry. According to the court documents submitted by Jaime Davis, St. Mary's sheriff's deputy, Schrock was put to jail on Wednesday with a $10,000 bond.
Hurry told the cops that Schrock has diabetes, which explains why the latter has dry feet. Furthermore, she said that the accused has been keeping trays of the same dead skin shavings in her room, which was obtained from her feet. During the interrogation, Schrock denied that she was involved in any of the accusations.
