Kim Wong, Managing Director of WinTech Group, has accepted court orders that prevent him from leaving Australia until late September.

Mr. Wong is under allegations of company funds misappropriation worth around $1.2 million. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is currently investigating the case.

Mr. Wong has already handed over his passport to court authorities, according to the lawyers of ASIC.

In the Federal Court presided by Justice Christopher Jessup, ASIC disclosed that it had been monitoring the transfer of funds from the subscription account of WinTech to Mr. Wong's own accounts and Yun Jung Choi's, his girlfriend.

Mr. Wong denies all allegations placed against him.

A few days ago, Justice Jessup gave the go signal to Ms. Choi, who intends to leave for South Korea.

Ms. Choi disclosed that she had fabricated particular bank details according the request of Mr. Wong. On a Wintech statement dated March 2009, she made it appear that the account held more than it truly had - from the true balance of $904.20, figures were changed to as much as $2.53 million.

Ms. Choi has worked before at the Crown Casino's Mahogany Room - a room dedicated for high-stakes gambling. At first, ASIC said that she worked as a croupier, but information verified from the corporate regulator revealed that she was really in the food and beverage department.

ASIC's lawyers also disclosed to the court Mr. Wong frequented the Crown for heavy gambling.
