Only one week after surpassing Jack Nicklaus on the all-time PGA Tour winner list, Tiger Woods will have the chance to make more history.

While Woods already holds the record for PGA Tour earnings at $99 million, he will have the opportunity to pass the $100 million mark at this week's Greenbrier Classic, where he jumps straight back into action on Thursday.

Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson are next best with $66 million and then comes Jim Furyk on $51 million.

Jack Nicklaus, the man who Woods now has one more PGA Tour win than, is only 209th on the earnings list with $5.7 million.

But one record Nicklaus still holds is for major wins - he has 18 to Tiger's 14 and, more than any other, that's the record Woods covets.

He will get another chance to add to his tally of 14 major wins at Royal Lytham in two weeks' time.

"It's going to be totally different shot-making and prep," Woods said.

"I'm going to have to start practising some different shots and getting used to hitting the ball a little bit lower.

"It's a totally different game playing links golf."

Regarding his 74th win on Sunday, which now puts him behind only Sam Snead's 82, Woods said: "I've had a number of good years in my career so far and I feel like I've got a lot more ahead of me.

"It feels great to get to 74 wins and obviously pass Jack. It's something I'm very proud of.

"I remember there was a time when people were saying I could never win again. That was what, six months ago?

"A lot of media people didn't think I could win again and I had to deal with those questions for quite a bit.

"It was just a matter of time. I could see the pieces coming together.

"If you look at my ball-striking so far this year it's gotten more and more consistent."
