The upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is indeed the talk of the town. The British royal Prince Andrew found himself addressing questions on the royal engagement in a dinner in New York City from Woody Allen, talk show host Chelsea Handler and CBS Evening News' Katie Couric.

Just the other night, Prince Andrew dined at the Upper East Side in a townhouse owned by billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, with director Woody Allen and other media heavryweights.

According to reports, the British royal told the dinner guest that the British royal family is happy with the engagement of Prince William and Katie Middleton, and soon found himself being pressed for wedding invitations.

"Most of the talk started off about trade and industry, but by dessert, everybody couldn't hold back and asked him about the wedding," an insider told the New York Post.

"Andrew said the Queen and the royal family are delighted, Kate is a terrific girl, but they were all expecting the announcement since she and William have been together for so long."

Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement in the middle of November this year. Their wedding is scheduled to be held on April 29th next year, at Westminster Abbey. The wedding will be a "semi-state affair."

The source also said that "Everyone at the table, including Woody Allen, jokingly asked him for an invite to the wedding, but he just smiled."
