Woolworths is recalling packets of Macro Gluten Free Choc Brownie Mix 400g from Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets and Thomas Dux stores across Australia due to the possible presence of milk, an undeclared allergen.

The company said the undeclared content may pose a health risk to consumers who are allergic or intolerant to milk.

“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Consumers who are not allergic to milk can safely consume this product. Apart from this issue there are no other concerns with this product,” Woolworths said in a statement.

The recall applies to product from all batches sold nationally from March through today. No other Woolworths or Macro branded products are affected by the product recall.

Any customer who has this product can return it to Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets, and Thomas Dux stores for a full refund.
