World Cup Finals: Germany vs Argentina Live Streaming Information, Preview, Squad Update
Sunday's World Cup finals will be a battle between a squad whose quality is sky-high in the form of Germany, but still plays as a unit, and a team with the best player on earth in Argentina, which just needs that moment of magic to determine a match.
Die Mannschaft, who gave Brazil a 7-1 mauling in the semis, are the best team in this year's quadriennial competition. They have been very fluid on the offensive end, with Toni Kroos, Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, and compny leading the charge, while maintaining their discipline on the opposite end of the pitch.
While they have conceded more goals than Argentina, they have never looked threatened in almost all, if not all, of their fixtures.
On the other hand, it can be argued that La Albiceleste just barely made it through to the finals since all of their encounters, except for the last-four clash against the Netherlands that ended in a penalty shootout, were decided by "that" odd goal.
With Angel Di Maria doubtful to feature, Lionel Messi must bring with him his "A" game, since he will definitely be the focal point of their attacks, either through creating opportunities for projected starter Gonzalo Higuain or just putting himself in position to strike the ball at the back of the net himself.
Germany
Projected Starters (4-3-3): Neuer; Howedes, Lahm, Boateng, Hummles; Khedira, Kroos, Schweinsteiger; Ozil, Muller, Klose
Injured/Doubtful: Shkodran Mustafi
Argentina
Projected Starters (4-2-3-1): Romero; Rojo, Zabaleta, Garay, Demichelis; Mascherano, Biglia; Lavezzi, Perez, Messi; Higuain
Injured/Doubtful: Di Maria
