World War 3 Countdown: Syrian Children Plead for Obama to Strike, Assad Defiant Amidst Attack Threat (VIDEOS)

The countdown to World War 3 may happen soon enough as the U.S. Congress prepares to approve or deny President Barack Obama's proposal to strike Syria.

A video posted on Youtube allegedly produced by the residents of Kafranbel, a village in northern Syria, sent a message for the world to see and called on the United States to strike Syria. The video shootage was explained in English that the U.S. plan to retaliate against Syria and President Bashar al-Assad would save their souls.

Known as the creative center of the Syrian Revolution, Kafranbel became newsworthy in the U.S. when some residents extended their condolences to the country after the Boston bombing incidents. The residents used signs to express their sympathies.

Kafranbel began sending out message banners to the world in the English language two months after the civil war started in Syria in May 2011.

The Kafranbel video showing children and young adults contained quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. and Ronald Reagan. The residents who appeared on the video claimed to have lost their loved ones because of President Assad's mission to end the Syrian uprising.

A little boy can be seen in the video urging the U.S. to strike, "You have to say yes!" A girl tried to weigh in the U.S. administration's conscience by saying, "You should feel ashamed, because you can save our lives but you never want to try."

After the U.S. Senate panel has approved Obama's plan to strike Syria for its chemical weapons used that killed over a thousand and injured hundreds of its people. The rest of the world has waited with bated breath for World War 3 to start anytime soon.

The move to strike Syria has passed the initial hurdle but Congress will prepare to debate whether or not to endorse U.S. President Barack Obama's military strike against the Assad regime.

Assad defiant in face of U.S. military attack

Despite the possibility of Syria being Ground Zero of World War 3, the Syrian leader has vehemently denied knowledge of chemical weapons use against opposing forces on Aug. 21. Appearing in an interview with the U.S. program Face the Nation, Mr Assad denied having anything to do with the attack.

The interview with Charlie Rose will be broadcasted on the day Mr Obama was scheduled to appear on television and appeal his case to Americans on the need to strike Syria for what its actions.

Mr Assad also reiterated in the interview that the U.S. can expect "every action" if it decides to attack Syria. He implied that opposition forces would seek revenge including his own government and allied countries.

The U.S. has recently sent a message to the Assad regime to surrender all chemical weapons in their possession or face a military strike. If the Syrian government fails to comply, this might escalate fears of an impending World War 3 or the End of Days as others see it.

The countdown for a potential World War 3 in Syria may begin once the US Congress will finally endorse a military strike. If Syria's allies will stand in the way, WW3 may not be far behind.
