Worm Discovered in Indian Airline Sandwich, Other Gross Experience Exposed
Will you panic if you found worms in your sandwich right in the middle of your flight?
Total Travel Yahoo reported Air India is conducting an investigation after one of its passengers discovered worms in his mid-flight snack. The New York flight was heading to New Delhi on Sep. 28. The passenger claimed he did not hear any feedback from the flagship carrier of India even after two weeks since he reported it.
Prasad Rao, airline representative, said the airline is currently investigating the incident to identify the caterer who supplied the sandwich. The representative added this was an isolated case since the company has been consistently maintaining high quality food products.
Air India had experienced a series of problems over the past months. In May 2013, one of its flights was diverted to a different destination after the pilot found the cockpit door locked when he came from a toilet break. One of the airline's senior pilot was also caught drunk while flying a commercial aircraft.

This plane food incident is not the first of its kind. One Qantas flyer while eating found maggots in her flight snack. The passenger thought the crunchy filling was nuts until she saw the maggots when the lights were turned on.
A Delta flight also became controversial when needles were discovered in the turkey sandwiches. It even got one flyer hurt his mouth's roof. This incident remains unresolved.
An American airline flight had a story of a couple who found glass pieces in their icecream. This occured even if they were flying in a first class trip. One Jet Airways flight passenger in India found a dead lizard in his dinner meal on board.
