Golden Globe Awards are the most important awards in an actor's life. After People's Choice Awards last week, the Awards season has officially kicked off. Oscars and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) are next now. With the award season, we see the celebrities getting dressed to their best for the D-Day. Golden Globes saw some of the best dressed celebs rock the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. But then there are always some celebrities who dress in some way or the other and end up getting in news for being the worst dressed. Let's take a look at them.

For the 71st annual Golden Globes on Monday stars chose to be dressed in wonderful designer dresses and walk the red carpet. "Gravity" actor Sandra Bullock showed up in a multicolored (pink black blue) dress by Prabal Gurung, which was not appreciated by many Web sites writing on fashion. According to Katrina Mitzeliotis, fashion writer at Perez Hilton, Bullock's dress was a disappointment.

"I really didn't like her dress at all. Her plunging, high-low gown featured a pink bodice and a black skirt which fanned out and featured a thick, baby blue stripe on the bottom. The star was having such a stellar style run so it's really upsetting to see her miss the mark at the first major award show of the year," writes Mitzeliotis. See Sandra's picture here.

Lena Dunham also falls in the same category. The 27-year-old picked a sunshine yellow gown by her favorite designer Zac Posen but the dress did not fit her properly. It was an ill fit for her body type and tapered untidily below her hips. See picture here.

Actress Zoe Saldana too showed up in a Prabal Gurung dress which highlighted her slim waist but was probably a bit too strapless for her delicate frame. Check out her picture here.

"Girls" star Allison Williams showed up in a black and white ensemble which was tad too casual for the big occasion. Check out the pictures here. Actress Paula Patton too was in news for all wrong reasons. She chose an off white full sleeve dress which had a frilly design at the left side. She matched it with same colored footwear and even chose matching earrings! See pics here.

French actress Berenice Bejo is very gorgeous but the dress she chose for the Golden Globes red carpet did not go well with her personality. Take a look at her picture here and you will realize what we mean. Presenter Tina Fey never fails to make us laugh but when she turned out in a maroon silky printed gown by Carolina Herrera we only wished she would have chosen something else. Edie Falco is also in worst dressed celebs list as her crimson red gown was good for the occasion only if it did not have a huge distracting bow. Check out the picture here. Taylor Schilling looked gorgeous in her green gown but the "Orange is New Black" actress' neckline design was too covered up in lace to be formal. See her picture here.

Caitlin Fitzgerald from the "Masters of Sex" showed up in a sky blue gown with a small train. It was a bit too covered up for the occasion. If Caitlin accessorized it with some silver shoes and earrings (instead of matching blue), it would have made her look fabulous. See picture here.
