As the American Music Award is over, the next best thing to actually being there is perusing through the Worst Dressed lists.

There is nothing half so apt as a guilty pleasure than celebrities who dress badly. The fashion police are out and about and are fining these stars for their fashion catastrophes.

Whether everyone acknowledges it or not, awards shows (or let's be honest, awards season) is all about who makes the Best Dressed List and its evil twin, Worst Dressed List.

While we cannot decide which one is more delicious to look at, we can agree that there were a few whopper outfits at the American Music Awards. Let's get down to it.

1. David Guetta and wife, Cathy Guetta: this French DJ might have us hopping and dancing to his club tunes but will he ever be aware of the cardinal rule of not wearing leather pants? He has to understand that there are very few people in this world who look good in them, and he certainly did not make the cut. His wife, Cathy, is guilty by association as she's a fantastic stand in for Lil Kim.

2. Phoebe Price: If you Google Phoebe Price, IMDB will reveal that she's an actress of some sort. However, it's her garish makeup and terrible fascinator that caught the eye of the fashion police. This D-lister was definitely fined for her outfit.

3. Nicki Minaj: This female rapper is certainly making the rounds and even as normally, we love her bizarre style, this lace and shocking green ensemble just leave us perplexed. Perhaps Ms. Minaj would be so good as to explain the choker she borrowed from the 90's too.

4. Jennifer Morrisson: The jury's still out on this one. The length is plain awkward and the cut is somewhat off in a way that does not flatter the "Once Upon A Time Actress."

5. Chaka Kahn: The only way to describe this outfit is over the top with a hint of Whoopi Goldberg.
