The Undertaker's undefeated reign is over after Brock Lesnar defeated him in Wrestlemania XXX. As expected, the outcome of the wrestling event has garnered a lot of mixed reactions from fans all over different social networking sites, but some gamblers weren't surprised at all and reportedly knew that The Undertaker would lose.

Winning Streak is Over

On Feb. 24, The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark William Callaway, accepted Brock Lesnar's challenge for match at Wrestlemania XXX. A month and half after the challenge was made, The Undertaker has lost for the first time in more than a couple of decades of his participation in Wrestlemania on April 6. The event was held at the Mercedez Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The Undertaker has 21-0 winning streak prior to losing to Lesnar. He had fought some of the greatest names in the world of wrestling all throughout his entire career including Kane, Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista, Shawn Michaels, and CM Punk among many others.

Rumours have surfaced following The Undertaker's Loss to Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXX. According to Wrestlinginc.com, it was The Undertaker's decision to end his winning streak. "It's said that this was indeed The Undertaker's decision," the Web site reported. "We noted before back in 2010, Taker wanted Lesnar to be the one the end The Streak," the Web site further wrote.

Fans Expressed Mixed Reactions

It is comprehensible that wrestling fanatics would be in awe after The Undertaker's loss. The Hollywood Life has gathered some of the best reactions from fans after watching the show, and they clearly didn't have any idea whatsoever of the outcome of Wrestlemania XXX.

"WWE took away piece of my childhood away when they let the Undertaker lose his streak," one fan wrote on Twitter.

"The Clippers won 50 games, the Lakers lost 50 games, the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak is over, the end is near, friends," another one wrote.

Gamblers Knew that The Undertaker Would Lose

Fans may be surprised that The Undertaker's winning streak is over but not the gamblers, Forbes reported. Somehow they knew that the 49-year-old wrestler would not win in Wrestlemania XXX. Bettors bet on The Undertaker but the wind has changed its direction come Sunday evening, the date of the said event, when online gambling Web site Bovada revealed there were "a whole lot of action going Lesnar's way."

Now that The Undertaker's winning streak is over, does it mean he would be retiring for good? Following the match, The Undertaker was brought to the hospital after suffering a severe concussion. He was accompanied by WWW CEO Vince McMahon.

"WWE.com can confirm that following last night's historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center," as posted on WWE's official Web site.
