People's Choice Awards are around the corner and fans of stars are getting crazy voting for their favourite star. So, what happens when your favourite stars asks you to vote for someone else? Would you do it? Something similar happened when One Direction singer, Harry Styles asked his fans to vote for "Friends" actress Courtney Cox on Twitter. Fans reacted with confused reactions. Check out the details ahead.

"Vote Courtney Cox. Rule number one.. Always vote Courtney Cox," wrote Harry Styles on his Twitter account last Thursday. This was a request by the curly-haired cutie to his fans. The singer also posted the link of the People's Choice Awards for his fans to cast their vote for the 48-year-old stunning beauty.

Courtney has been nominated for a People Choice Award for Favourite Cable TV actress while One Direction has been nominated for Best Band Category. Both of them need votes to win. Instead of asking fans to cast vote for their band, Harry appealed to fans to vote for Courtney Cox. Fans of the singer reacted by expressing their disbelief while others retweeted his post.

"Harry styles tweets bout Courtney cox and half of those obsess Tweens don't know who she or Monica Geller is. Yeah for 90s generation!," writes Hollymalcala on Twitter.

Of course, some "Directioners" were annoyed at Harry's Tweet.

"WE WORKED OUR ASSES OFF TO VOTE FOR THE BOYS AND HARRY TWEETS TO VOTE FOR COURTNEY COX EVEN WITH THE LINK," writes Alex Goldschmidt on Twitter.

Others were Happy that Harry is a Monica (character of Cox in "Friends") guy and not fascinated with the obvious choice of Jennifer Aniston's' Rachel.

"I love that @Harry_Styles loves Courtney Cox. He seems like more of a Phoebe or Rachel, but I guess he's a Monica," writes Josh on Twitter.

Some Twitter users are already confident that Courtney Cox would win the award after Harry's tweet!

"i guess courtney cox will win now. i hopes she thanks harry in her speech," writes Nadine on Twitter.

Do you think Harry's Tweet would make a difference an increase Courtney Cox's' chances at winning?
