There are many rumors before regarding Siri's presence in other Apple devices after becoming a hit with Apple's iPhone 4S. As it turns out, these rumors have basis since Siri, the popular virtual assistant would now be available for second-generation iPad model and above. This new OS would also bring about a much improved Siri especially in location awareness and updated information. There are also added options for the language that Siri can utilize ranging from Canadian French and English; Italian; Spanish (for Spain, Mexico, and the U.S.); Swiss Italian, French, and German; Mandarin (Taiwan), Cantonese (Hong Kong), and Mandarin and Cantonese (Mainland China).

Apple has developed its own mapping system which seems to compete with the popular Google Maps. According to Apple, this system was "'built from the ground up" thus having its own features and functions. Users can expect a much more improved "mapping feature" which would utilize turn-by-turn navigation, 3D "flyovers", updated traffic information and more.
Facebook Integration
Apple's iOS 6 now offers Facebook Integration for Apple users. This is similar to the Twitter integration that was done before. Instead of accessing a seperate application, users can save their details in their device and they could instantly access Facebook directly from their own device.
Do Not Disturb
Through iOS 6, there is a new option called "Do Not Disturb" and this will enable to keep Apple devices in silent mode as well as preventing the screen from lighting up at all times. This feature is helpful especially for people who do not want to be disturbed or interrupted during a specific time frame.
These are just some of the additional features that can be utilized through Apple's iOS 6. There are still a lot more possibilities for this new iOS version once it has been officially released in the market.
