WWE 2K17: 'Future Stars' DLC expected to be released this week
2K Sports is expected to launch the 'Future Stars Pack' as a latest downloadable content (DLC) offering for popular title WWE 2K17 later this week, per fresh reports.
The trailer for the pack, which is set to include Tye Dillinger, The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) Austin Aries and Mojo Rawley, was released on Youtube earlier this week. While the trailer was released by a YouTube personality and WWE fan, 2K's official Twitter account confirmed that the new DLC would be "coming soon".
There's still some confusion over the authenticity of the Youtube video. However, loyal gamers on social media posted positive responses upon viewing the video, which shows the superstars with specific entrance songs and move sets. Also, their entrance attires and character models appeared genuine rather than a creation of a community uploader.

The leaked video also shows Dillinger, a star at NXT, hitting his signature Tye Breaker on Samoa Joe, besides Aries hitting the Discus Elbow on Hideo Itami. Going by initial impressions, gamers should be pleased with the quality of the DLC -- contrary to earlier downloadable content releases from 2K Sports that were met with severe criticism. While WWE 2K16 was met with a lot of backlash, 2k Sports' latest wrestling title seems to have ben embraced by gamers.
Last month, Games Radar speculated on the Future Stars pack while reporting on the details of the new bumper patch that was released ahead of Christmas. "The big news is that it (the new patch) includes support – i.e. character models – for the already announced Future Stars DLC pack, encompassing Austin Aries, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Mojo Rawley and Tye Dillenger."
WWE 2K17 is available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
