The World Wrestling Entertainment corrected a promotional blip featuring former world heavyweight champion John Cena as the new champion coming into Wrestlemania 31. The said advertisement would have pre-supposed that Cena would win the triple threat match against Brock "The Beast Incarnate" Lesnar and Seth Rollins at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

According to Wrestling Inc., the WWE scrambled to rectify a spoiler blunder that tagged Cena as the current WWE heavyweight champion part of the promotional video for the Mar. 8 WWE event in Allentown, PA. After a few hours, the website took down and replaced the introduction of Cena with the words, "one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history." The said incident was interpreted by wrestling followers as the hint for the outcome of the 2015 Royal Rumble.

Cena winning Royal Rumble might be the twist that the wrestling scene may just need to bring back enthusiasm to a wavering following. Brock Lesnar is all but confirmed of returning to mixed martial arts with both Bellator and the Ultimate Fighting Championship knocking on his doors as soon as his contract with the WWE is up. Rollins has the chance to strengthen the power of the Authority but the biggest twist Vince McMahon and his think tanks can bring into the scene is by turning Cena heel and having him get back the heavyweight championship belt.

There was evidence of some fatigue factor of Cena as a baby face, which was evident in the last episode of Raw. Rollins and Cena went at it, after McMahon dangled the return to work of Cena associates Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan as the prize of winning a lumberjack match with his best heel. The baby faced hero eventually lost to Rollins largely due to the constant aid and interference of the Authority, specifically Big Show, who paved the way to the pinfall win by the man who holds the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The piling consecutive losses of Cena is likely to end at some point and it would come as no surprise if he regains the title back either in the Rumble or at Wrestlemania 31. After all, the 15-time champion is one of the company's most loyal personnel and him winning the belt for the 16th time would tie him with Ric Flair for most number of championships. And with Lesnar having limited appearances in between pay-per-view events, Cena holding the belt once more in the lead up to the passing of the baton to say, Daniel Bryan (once again) or Roman Reigns (more likely) at Wrestlemania 31 would be a good start to a new page in the wrestling annals. After all, Cena's never give up mantra is a good thing to have for the next few weeks in the lull between the two main events of the year.

Own your failure, no one is perfect. Always try and learn from defeat to prepare for your next victory. Adapt. Overcome. #nevergiveup
