Batista also known as "The Animal" is officially back in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). After being gone from the WWE ring for almost four years, Batista's return to WWE was shown on WWE Raw on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. Batista also announced that he is back to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title which is currently held by reigning champion Randy Orton, who is on his eighth reign.

Batista left the WWE in 2010. He was last seen on May 24, 2010 in the WWE Raw after the "I Quit" Match with John Cena. According to Wrestling News World, Batista said that he left WWE because he didn't like the direction the company was going in and that he wouldn't be returning anytime soon.

However, he retracted his statement in 2012 when he appeared on Spike TV's "MMA Uncensored Live." Batista said that he "definitely" sees himself returning to WWE and that he wanted to wrestle with WWE superstars Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Triple H when he comes back.

That day has finally arrived in 2014 but Batista didn't face off with the WWE wrestlers he mentioned before. Instead, Batista fought with Alberto Del Rio and even interrupted reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton as he was speaking on the WWE ring.

When Batista was asked why he eventually came back after being gone for so long, he had this to say:

"For that," said Batista as he pointed to Orton's championships as stated in the Bleacher Report.
