Christmas could potentially come sooner for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fans with the latest development offered by Bray Wyatt himself.

The former tag team champion and a member of the famed Wyatt family, Bray fueled speculations that official entry of Sting to the WWE world could come sooner than the initially expected date of Wrestlemania season. Wyatt recently posted a cryptic Twitter message that hinted on destroying the scorpion, an obvious reference to Sting's nickname.

For months now and since his inclusion in the roster of playable characters in WWE 2K15, many pundits have been speculating on who will Sting hurdle first. There have been talks of pitting him against Big Show, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. But this piece of hint is intriguing as well.

On a marketing standpoint, it could benefit Sting to start slowly and not take on the biggest names first. Wyatt is relatively a young name in the industry but is an accomplished wrestler as well. While has has lost some momentum in past few months, no thanks to the rivalry with John Cena, it would be logical to bring his name again, given he is one of the NXT stars to transfer ship. The WWE could market himas underdog once again and rebrand his obviously outmatched build-up in the two pay-per-view losses to the leader of Cenation.

Maybe, this could just be a ploy of Wyatt to bring some sun to his case. The fighter was not even on the roster of the recent Night of Champions and murmurs are on the down-low if he will be included in the end of October's Hell in Cell line-up.

While Sting will draw in the masses whoever he is paired with could benefit from fighting with young stars. Pitting him against the legends in a sort of flashback scenario, say Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan would limit his options. If Sting can prove he can perform against the likes of Wyatt, the WWE can build him up against the current roster such as Cena or Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar.

If this fight happens soon, this makes a lot of sense on paper.
