X Factor Australia 2012 is down to its final three contestants. The Collective battled the third spot with Bella Ferraro, but judge Guy Sebastian ultimately let the public make the decision. Meanwhile, contestant Samantha Jade's cover of "Heartless" made it to the top of iTunes songs chart.

Jade and Jason Owen have earlier taken the first and second spots for the finals. Jade, 25, is mentored by Sebastian.

When it came down to The Collective and Ferraro Tuesday night, Mel B and Natalie Bassingthwaighte favored Ferraro. Ronan Keating chose The Collective. The last vote was from Sebastian, who tied the scores. So the public got to decide, and Ferraro went home.

Jade has truly blossomed on the X Factor stage. Shining at her best towards the end of the race is working well for her. She enjoyed two standing ovations Monday night, with "Heartless" by Kanye West and Rihanna's "Where Have You Been." Deemed to be a strong contender in the reality contest, Jade's version of "Heartless" has reached No. 1 on iTunes. Watch Jade's audition clip here, or play the media below. Owen, 18, is mentored by former Spice Girl Mel B. He did a good job with Rascal Flatts' "Life is a Highway," but LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live" was quite a challenge for him.
