X Factor Australia had a partial reset on its second live show on Tuesday, as Luke Jacobz announced the replacement of Josh Brookes.

Brookes, 20, had left the show over alleged nude photo requests in an unauthorized Twitcam chat last week. In a statement, the Seven Network released a statement saying Brookes, was kicked off because he "behaved in an inappropriate manner."

Mel B chose Carmello to replace Brookes slot in the 11 remaining finalists.

Here are the highlights of X Factor Australia's second live show:

10. Mel B announced very early into the show that Carmelo Munzone will be replacing Brookes. Carmello performed a swing version of "Everlasting Love," convincing judges he truly deserved a chance in the competition.

9. Angel Tupai performed "Young Hearts Run Free" while showing off what seemed to be a Miley Cyrus-inspired side cut blonde 'do.

8. Jason Owen was not at his best when he danced to "Dancing in The Moonlight," but Fortunate showed an improvement from last when week. He impressed the judges with "Blame It on the Boogie."

7. Nathaniel Willemse showed his smurf side in a distracting all blue outfit. But his charming moves and smooth voice more than made up for the visuals. He performed "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai.

6. Bella Ferraro paid homage to UK's X Factor icon One Direction by singing "What Makes You Beautiful" in a slower tempo. It almost worked. Judges argued whether her song matched the episode's party theme.

5. Mel B made it clear to Ferraro that she just could not make a Spice Girls comment without selling 75 million albums first. Enough said.

4. What About Tonight's performance was a deal closer, but Justin did not seem to have what it takes to get Bohemian Rhapsody right.

3. Samantha Jade showed off her vocal prowess, but her personality is somewhat lacking of the X factor, says the judges.

2. Shiane Hawke exuded a true celebrity vibe as she performed I Heard it Through the Grapevine.

1. The Collective was the last performer with "Footlose," a great way to end the night.
