“X Factor Australia” has lost another hopeful in a “Foo fight.” On Tuesday, Redfoo’s two female acts Joelle and Jiordan Tolli had to sing for their lives after they got the lowest viewers’ votes from their Sunday performance.

But before that, it’s back to judge Ronan Keating’s heyday with Boyzone. The 90s boyband – Ronan, Keith Duffy, Mikey Grahan, and Shane Lynch – schooled the contestants how chart-toppers do it on stage with their new track “Love Will Save the Day.”

The top 8 then joined the Irish group to sing their classic “Picture of You.”

Capital Cities also enlivened the stage with their very catchy tune “Safe and Sound” before the night’s announcement of the Sunday performance results.

As it happened, it was Redfoo’s two remaining acts that garnered the lowest votes from Australia, which meant Joelle and Jiordan had to face off to plead their case.

While the girls were preparing for their maybe-final performance on the X Factor stage, American duo Karmin got the audience going with their “Acapella.”

Then it was time for Joelle and Jiordan to give it their best shot.

Joelle was first with her cover of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” earning her praises from the judges for using her vocal strength.

Jiordan, meanwhile, went for her shaky version of Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn.”

Despite Joelle making it on iTunes chart for her live performance of “Joey” on Sunday, judges Ronan, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Dannii Minogue were unanimous in their decision to send her home, which meant her mentor, Redfoo, didn’t have to choose between her and Jiordan.

Judges eliminated Joelle

Joelle’s elimination left Redfoo with just one act left, Jiordan, who will again go into a showdown with other surviving contestants, Omar Dean, Taylor Henderson, Jai Waetford, Dami Im, JTR, and THIRD D3GREE.
