The audition performances of New Zealand-born miner Tangaroa Te Tai or Big T and café manager Aaron Taylor have impressed the judges and the audience in “X Factor Australia” Season 7. Big T and Taylor join Lisa Mondy and Maddison Milewski as the “X Factor Australia” contestants who received the nod of approval from judges Guy Sebastian, James Blunt, Dannii Minogue and Chris Isaak.

Tangaroa Te Tai also known as Big T, a 22-year-old miner born in New Zealand, has wowed the judges with his performance of the Stevie Wonder hit single “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.” Big T, who showed up on the stage still wearing his work clothes, received a standing ovation from the four “X Factor Australia” judges and loud clap and cheers from the audience.

“Thank you for lighting up this room. I loved it,” Sebastian said to Big T. English singer-songwriter James Blunt is already rooting for Big T to win the Australian TV reality music competition.

Blunt recounted how he also auditioned wearing his work clothes. “I have a prediction for you and I am absolutely serious. You are the man who turned up for the audition in his work clothes and my prediction is I reckon you will get the Sony record deal,” Blunt told Big T after his audition.

Then, the judges told Big T that he is going to change into a new shirt and take a break from work because he is going to stay in the competition. Big T recounted in the Pilbara News report that he was so nervous during the audition that he felt like fainting.

Another contestant who received a standing ovation from the “X Factor Australia” Season 7 judges is Aaron Taylor. The 28-year-old café manager performed his version of Conchita Wurst’s “Rise Like a Phoneix.”

Meanwhile, new “X Factor Australia” judge James Blunt has shared in a Woman’s Day report that he will be cutthroat when it comes to judging the contestants. “I hope to be honest with people if they are good, I'll say so, if they are bad, I'll say so but hopefully with a little bit of kindness,” Blunt added.
