Another “X-Factor Australia” season 7 contender went home during Tuesday’s show. The eight live decider show had Big T going home, while his co-team member Cyrus Villanueva moves forward to the grand finals.

After Monday’s killer song and curveball performance, Big T landed at the bottom two along with Louise Adams. For Tuesday’s “X-Factor Australia” live decider show, the two engaged in a singing showdown where the 22 year old aspiring singer sang Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” while Adams did a cover of The Police’s “Roxanne,.

This was the first time that Adams landed at the bottom list after receiving criticism from judges over her rendition of Bill Wither’s “Ain’t No Sunshine” during Monday’s “X-Factor Australia” live show. Adams mentor James Blunt even publicly apologised for his poor and “uninspired” song choice for the singer.

“X-Factor Australia season 7 judges Guy Sebastian and Blunt opted to save Adams, while Chris Isaak voted for his own act. Judge Dannii Minogue’s vote to keep Big T in the competition took it to a deadlock, according to Yahoo 7 TV. “I want it to be Australia’s choice,” she explained.

With the deadlock vote, the “X-Factor Australia” contender with the lowest public votes is sent home. In Tuesday’s live decider show, Big T received the lowest number of votes.

Despite losing out on the chance to land a spot in the “X-Factor Australia” season 7 grand finals, Big T is still thankful for the opportunity to be part of the reality singing competition. He said during Tuesday’s show, “I’d like to thank X factor for this journey of a lifetime. If you’ve got a dream, anything is possible if you work hard. To everyone here, good luck and may the best person win.”

Big T’s mentor Isaak was sad to see one of his boys go, although he did compliment the aspiring singer for everything that Big T has achieved so far. “Look at how far he’s come,” he said. “I’m so proud of him.”

Meanwhile, fan favourite Villanueva was one of the “X-Factor Australia” season 7 contenders who made it through the semi-final round of the competition. The 19 year old Filipino Australian aspiring singer gave an impressive performance during Monday's live show. Apart from Villanueva and Adams, the singing duo Jess and Matt also landed a spot in the competition’s top 3 grand final list.

The next episode of “X-Factor Australia” season 7 will air on Monday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
