'X-Factor Australia' Season 7 next live show challenge to unleash singer's talents
Season 7 of the “X-Factor Australia” is nearing the end of its competition run, with the upcoming seventh live show of the reality singing competition set to showcase the contenders’ amazing talents.
There are only five contestants left in “X-Factor Australia” Season 7's contenders namely Big T, Mahalia Simpson, Cyrus Villanueva, Louise Adams and the singing duo Jess and Matt. In the latest “X-Factor Australia” preview posted at Yahoo 7 TV, the next live show scheduled to air on Monday, Nov. 9, will feature “unleashed” performances from the five aspiring singers.
Also, unlike the other live show challenges in Season 7 of the “X-Factor Australia,” Monday’s upcoming episode won’t have a theme. This is a first in the competition, according to the latest preview and will feature a show that won’t have any “restrictions” where the “X-Factor Australia” contenders will “sing the very best songs they could find.”
In the preview clip, Chris Isaak even teased that the next episode will determine who will make it to the finals of the reality singing competition. “Knock, knock, knocking on grand final’s door…,” Isaak sang. The lyrics are a short part of Villanueva’s amazing cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.”
Meanwhile, the last live decider show of “X-Factor Australia” Season 6 saw the departure of Natalie Conway. The aspiring singer and Simpson had a singing showdown after the two landed at the bottom of the list. “X-Factor Australia” judges Dannii Minogue and Isaak opted to keep Simpson in the competition, while judge James Blunt chose his own act, Conway. However, Guy Sebastian’s vote to eliminate Simpson forced a deadlock, in which the contestant with the lowest votes is sent home. In Tuesday’s live decider show, Conway unfortunately had the lowest number of votes.
Fans were also surprised with the voting turnout, given that it was the first time that Conway landed at the bottom list. A few were worried for Big T after he struggled with his rendition of Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven.” He started off his performance with the wrong key but Big T still managed to recover towards the end of the song.
The next episode of “X-Factor Australia” Season 7 airs on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
