X-Factor Gets A Musical Entertainment
X-Factor showcases the best of modern talent on its Wednesday results show, with two great acts lined up to perform.
Grammy award winner Bruno Mars will be present to sing his new single "It Will Rain".
This latest single from the singer-songwriter is expected to be an instant hit from both fans of Mars and the wildly popular Twilight franchise. "It Will Rain" is part of the original soundtrack of the fourth film in the series, Breaking Dawn.
Mars has been riding a career high, after winning Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist at the American Music Awards (AMA). His win dethroned other crowd favorites Justin Bieber and Pitbull, and he gave them a nod in his speech.
"I just want to share this award with Justin Bieber and Pitbull. This is all our work," the breakout artist says.
The live audience will also be treated to what will surely be a show-stopping performance by American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson. The pop diva will be performing the title track from the album "Stronger", "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)".
It will be a reunion of sorts for Clarkson, who was crowned as the first Idol under former American Idol judges Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. The two are currently judges for X-Factor, and will share the spotlight with Clarkson on the upcoming results show.
In a recent interview with MTV, she reveals that she has never caught an episode of X-Factor yet, even if two of her Idol mentors are headlining the show.
"I haven't seen [X-Factor] because I've been out of the country, but I watch 'The Voice,' I watch 'American Idol' - I watch all of it," Clarkson explains to MTV.
The original Idol remains one of the most successful of all the American Idol alumni, since the reality show's first season in 2002.
Instead of the usual single elimination, two of the remaining nine finalists will be sent home on the Wednesday Thanksgiving special.
