British singer Rita Ora has said that she had a relationship with a 26-year-old man when she was only 14 years old.

She was a student at London's Sylvia Young Theatre School at the time, and it was her first relationship with a man, The Sun reported. Ora has talked about this relationship in her new unauthorised biography “Hot Right Now.”

She also had talked about her relationship with the older man during a 2013 appearance on Amanda de Cadenet's Lifetime show, “The Conversation.”

“I was very new to the whole world of a man and a female. It’s strange how, once it starts, you kind of feel you can take over the world,” she told de Cadenet. “Even to this day if someone fancied me I’d feel so great.”

The 24-year-old actress refused to be tagged as “abused” in her relationship despite the age difference with her partner at that time. Ora said the attention she received from her man helped her feel “confident” about herself, adding that her relationship made her feel “sexy” as the man “respected” her feelings and “listened” to her.

“I don’t want to say that I suffered it, because I wanted it. I don’t want to say that I was forced to do it. I don’t want people to think I was abused as a kid but I was definitely more mature than I should have been at 14,” the singer said.

Ora admitted that her dating experience motivated her to wear low tops and put on red lipstick. The singer also said her mom supported her style but was not aware about her interest in men at that age.

The "Young, Single & Sexy" singer worked for Notting Hill shoe shop at 16, The Sun reported. Ora’s former workmate Antonio Fumarola revealed how the singer was very open about her sexual experience. “She wasn’t innocent,” he said.

Ora previously dated Rob Kardashian and Calvin Harris. She is now linked to Travis Barker of Blink-182.

“Hot Right Now” also detailed how Ora rose to fame. The book’s authors Douglas Wight and Jenn Wiley revealed that the singer was taken into a child care when she and her family flew to the U.K. from Kosovo in 1991.

Ora is famous for her songs “Poison,” “Grateful,” Shine Ya Light” and “Body On Me.” She currently sits as a judge of “X-Factor” U.K. edition alongside Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
