"X-Factor" may have been the force behind great music stars such as the award-winning boy band One Direction, or singer Ella Henderson, but Simon Cowell feels like the show is not achieving its potential because of contestants who are not treating the show seriously and with respect. The judge believes that most of the contestants going to the show are planning to use it to just become showbiz stars.

Daily Star UK reports that Simon Cowell, 55, thinks that "X Factor" is being used as a strategy to break into the showbiz world. Contestants such as Rylan Clark, 26 and Jake Quickenden, 26, are said to be the type of contestants that the straightforward judge is pertaining to. Ryan went straight into the "Celebrity Big Brother" house after his stint with "X-Factor," while Jake jumped straight to "I'm A Celebrity" after being removed from the renowned singing contest.

"There are people who come on this show who just want fame," Simon says. They'll just do anything afterwards because that's why they've entered The X Factor," he added. The judge says that his final two acts, Ben Haenow and Fleur East, could not be more different from these contestants he's blasting.

According to him, Ben and Fleur are the real deal because they have authentic intentions and dreams to carve their names in the music world and make it big with their music careers. He's also tipping them to make the finals this month.

The judge has also said that fans of the show would see more of him next year. The judge says he loves doing the show so much that he's not going anywhere. More could be expected from him on 2015, and he promises to do everything in his power to look for more talents across the country. The judge says that he feels that the show is still not doing everything it can to tap into the big talent pool in the country and so he plans to do something about it. He's planning on taking mobile units around the country so that the net would be wider, and more talented musicians can be discovered.

Before that year comes and more "X-Factor" would happen, however, Simon will be spending his first Christmas as a dad with girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their baby, Eric, whom they welcomed back in February. A source said the family will go to Barbados for the holidays.
