Josh Levi, the "X Factor USA” 2013 Season 3 wildcard contestant, stayed after the first live performance Nov. 13, Wednesday. But who was voted off at the special elimination on Episode 1 of Week 13?

Wednesday’s performance is one episode on TXFU like no other since Season 3 premiered Sep. 11. The show offered more dramatic twists to make way for the Top 10 Finalists at the end of the week.

Special Elimination
Dubbed as a “brutal cut,” since someone will be forced to go home when Levi was asked to return as a wild card in last night’s special elimination saw Carlos Guevara as the first to get the boot.

The 16-year-old student from Lexington, SC belonged to Paulina Rubio’s boys’ act. Guevara did not even have a chance to sing for America’s vote Wednesday after being named as the TXFU hopeful who got the lowest number of votes.

According to Gossip Cop, Guevara was the one voted off after failing to convince America on a re-do performances Thursday, Nov. 7. His elimination was announced before other members of the Top 13 sang for America’s vote.

Songs
The show must go on after Carlos Guevara’s elimination. The remaining Top Final 12 finalists still have unfinished business for the day as they performed live for America’s vote. It is going to be a fierce battle for the performance show this week knowing two more acts will be eliminated Thursday (Nov. 14).

The finalists performed the 1980s song and once more they have to prove to America that they have the “X Factor.”

Episode Highlights
The first episode on Week 13 (Nov. 13) was both an elimination and performance show. It began with the dramatic, yet not very shocking elimination of Guevara after his weak performance of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye as his “save-me” song on second performance vote last Thursday (Nov. 7).

Other highlights of the evening include Demi Lovato’s seat on the judge table. The 21-year-old Latina singer was back next to Simon Cowell. The female judges looked great in their 1980s attire but the soon-to-be-dad kept his usual, plain white T-shirt.

The night was all about the contestants, however, two of them will be sent home on second episode of Week 13, Nov. 14.
