‘X-Factor’ USA: Judge Demi Lovato Tweets Support for Paris Jackson after Suicide Attempt
‘X-Factor’ USA judge Demi Lovato knows what it feels like for a young one to want to end her life and she wasted no time to express her love and support for Michael Jackson’s daughter who decided that it was over for her by slitting her arms in her California home this week.
In her tweet following Paris’s suicide attempt Wednesday June 5, Demi reached out to the 15-year-old celebrity and asked her to stay strong.
She tweeted: 'Dear Paris Jackson, don't let bullies to let you down,' adding: 'We believe in you!! Stay strong, Please ... You're beautiful and we love you. #Praying.'
Knowing exactly what it feels like to feel “no hope” but it end it all, Demi could be one of the best person to join the support group for Paris, even just through social media.
Demi has had a slew of troubles trying to harm herself as a teen. Having started working at a young age, the ‘X-Factor’ judge know what a young celebrity goes through. Demi met with fame when she was young as she starred in television show, ‘Barney and Friends.’
While others her age were playing, Demi was learning the ins and outs of keeping time for shoot, call times, facing the camera and looking great having fun while at it - - not too many child stars are prepared for.
She admitted insecurities that started to build up, resulting from reported bullying and depression that had always made her give up on life.
Demi made a shocking revelation in an earlier interview with Rolling Stone that she was asked to sign a “contract not to kill” herself when she was just seven.
'The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself,' Demi revealed in the interview with Rolling Stone, said Daily Mail. 'They weren’t expecting that so young.'
With her parents as her support group, Demi finally decided to check in to a rehabilitation center in 2010 where she was treated for bulimia. The facility also helped her fight constant wishes to harm herself. Demi was also diagnosed as a bipolar, one that could have been difficult for someone her age.
'Celebrities do have luxurious options, but my parents were like, 'No, you’re going to learn something,' Demi noted.
Demi is just among the celebrities who expressed love and support for Paris Jackson. Others include will i.am., Keri Hilson, and Russell Simmonds. The Jackson clans have reportedly gathered at the hospital while Paris is provided help towards recovery.

She was last declared “physically fine” but the MJ’s teen daughter still has to go through psychiatric help. Paris attempted to kill herself Wednesday for a slew of many reasons but her inability to cope with her father’s death is seen as the root of it all. Recent reports claim that Paris didn’t really want to end her life but her suicide attempt was a mere cry for help.
