The movie will showcase how the mutant, Apocalypse, who became the X-Men's greatest of nemesis. Children who watched the 90's animated series of "the X-Men" will remember him appearing in the series.

The upcoming movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will show Wolverine travelling back in time to warn their younger versions of themselves about the mutant race and since Wolverine is ageless it would be easier way for the directors to have him travel back and forth through time without changing in appearance.

The movie is a sequel to "X-Men: the Last Stand" and a much awaited follow up to "The Wolverine" whereas it showed a glimpse into the movie. The movie is to hit theaters on May 23, 2014 while "X-Men: Apocalypse" is to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
