The release of "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated in 2016. However, the fans are quite excited about the film and can't wait to know the interesting tidbits about the film. According to recent reports, the film would focus on Jennifer Lawrence's character Mystique.

Simon Kinberg of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" revealed in a recent interview with Collider that the relationship between Beast and Mystique would be detailed in the upcoming movie, something which has not been done in the earlier films. "The relationship between Beast and Mystique is a really interesting one that we didn't have a lot of time to explore in Days of Future Past, so we'll have an opportunity to do more of that in Apocalypse," said Kinberg when asked about the plot details of "X-Men's" sequel. Nicholas Hoult plays the role of Beast and his relationship with Mystique has always been the matter of major interest, according to further reports.

Moreover, it is also been said that "X-Men: Apocalypse" would be last in the series, especially for the characters who were seen in "Days of Future" past. The friendship between Erik and Charles would also intensify and could form a major element of "Apocalypse's" plot. "I think that the friendship between Erik and Charles, which has always been so integral to the franchise, is something we're continuing to explore and hopefully deepen with Apocalypse," Kinberg said further.

Mystique's origin would also be explored in the movie. For those who are not aware, she is a child of both Charles and Erik. However, she spent most her childhood with Charles but learned the ropes of feminism when she lived with Erik. Kinberg further hinted in his interview that Mystique's life could become a backbone of "Apoclyplse's" plot.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will feature Jennifer Lawrecne, Channing Tatum, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and more. The film is speculated to be a major success just like its prequel.
