‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Blu-Ray With Magneto Helmet And Rogue Deleted Scene
The extended Blu-Ray version of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will be released on Oct. 14, 2014 in the U.S. The extended version will reportedly have a cut scene involving the character Rogue. Retailers are offering exclusive deals like a Magneto helmet with the movie.
"X-Men: Days of the Past" involves time travel, where Wolverine is sent back in time by Professor X to his younger body to prevent a war that can potentially annihilate both the humans as well as the mutants.
The extended version of the movie will reportedly have some additional content. According to a report by Variety, the movie will have 10 minutes of content involving Rogue and also other scenes involving some of the other characters.
The writer and producer of the movie, Simon Kinberg, reportedly said that the additional 10 minutes was a substantial part of Rogue's storyline in the movie. According to the writer this part did not make it in the movie because the movie already had too many plots and sub-plots to accommodate Rogue's full story.
The writer/producer also reportedly said that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was the "most complicated" movie that he had worked on. The movie involved time travel and featured the young and old cast members of the same characters apart from the additional new characters.
Readers who buy the extended Blu-Ray version of the movie from Amazon will be able to get their hands on their exclusive offer of a Magneto helmet. The movie is available for pre-order right now and Amazon is offering to deliver the product on the same day of the launch for the customers in continental U.S.
The cast members of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" include Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Anna Paquin as Rogue, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Jennifer Lawrence as Mustique, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr, Halle Berry as Storm, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Peter Dinklage as Dr. Bolivar Trask, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman, Omar Sy as Bishop, Bingbing Fan as Blink, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Josh Helman as Maj.
