‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Leaked Scripts Reveal Mutant’s Death [SPOILERS]
Parts of the script for “X-Men: Days of Future Past” have been leaked, and one or two characters are about to die. Three sources claim they have parts of the leaked script, and two of them have been asked by the film’s studio to remove the excerpts from their sites, in which a mutant or two is going to meet their end.
RadarOnline.com has obtained the latest leaked script of the first scenes of the superhero flick. According to the text, the film opens in futuristic Moscow, which looks worse for wear with crumbling buildings.
UPDATE: Fox has requested that the excerpts from the script be deleted.
RadarOnline said that it did not pay the source of the script. The source is said to be a film staffer, who was one of the hundred people who had access to at least 400 printed copies of the document.”
What the gossip site has isn’t as revealing as the first leaked scripts, though.
Earlier in January an excerpt published on hypable.com revealed that fan favourite mutant Colossus, played by Daniel Cudmore, may die after attempting to beat one of the Sentinels that are introduced by Bolivar Trask, played by "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage.
The film’s studio has since requested the site to remove the excerpt, which may or may not prove that the leaked script was authentic.
Comicbookmovie.com has also acquired a leaked script, which also described “Colossus engaging a Sentinel and getting slapped down.” It wasn’t clear whether the mutant survived the battle, though. And again, 20th Century Fox has had the site remove the excerpt, which, as comicbookmovie.com noted, confirms that it was part of the movie’s script.
Apart from Colossus, there might be a few more deaths in the film. As director Bryan Singer recently said, there is a “great deal of humour, the overall tone is a bit darker than previous films, particularly because of the stakes.”
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is set to be released in the U.S. on May 23. It stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, and Jennifer Lawrence among several others.
