Comic Con will be a very lively place to be in as Major Nelson confirms the presence of the Xbox One---and a playable presence, at that--in San Diego next week. Microsoft will be on booth #100 for those interested.

Some of the games that will be shown off on the next-gen console include Killer Instinct and Ryse.

Polygon reports that, apart from the Xbox One, the Xbox 360 will also be making a pass, with both consoles dominating Microsoft's offsite gaming launch at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego hotel.

Some of the other playable games from third-party publishers such as Dead Rising 3 for the Xbox One and Halo 4's Champions Bundle DLC will also be available for demo play.

Make sure to drop by the lounge anytime between 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from July 18 to 20, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 21 in order to access it. Of course, you would be required to have a Comic-Con badge to gain entrance.

Not only will the Xbox One be on the show floor, but Microsoft will also find its way into four panels throughout the show, most notable of which include Major Nelson's The Future of Xbox Gaming and the Halo's team exclusive on Building Halo Worlds, a tribute to the many Halo projects that are currently in development.

More Xbox One and Windows games to be released?

The Xbox One has been touting the power of the cloud even before its reveal, and this seems to be the highlight for Microsoft's London studios' next project.

Microsoft's newest addition to its roster, Lift London, is currently working on four free-to-play games, which are said to maximize and showcase the power of the cloud.

"We're working across all Microsoft platforms, powered by the cloud, delivered to the connected audience," said Lee Schuneman, boss of Lift London.

This means that, apart from the Xbox One, gamers may also be seeing the connectivity of the games with the use of other Microsoft devices.

Is this the start of Microsoft's interconnected and integrated way of gaming--to expand to more than just the Xbox One as a gaming console and maximize the use of is cloud power to bring gaming to a new level of integration?

Who will replace Mattrick?

With news of Don Mattrick exploded about his leaving as the Xbox One division head to "fix things" at Zynga, the next question was who will now be spearheading the Xbox One project? It's just a few months heading to the big shipping in the holidays, and there has to be one that steps up and takes charge.

Apparently, this someone may come in the form of Julie Larson-Green, who is currently the Windows boss.

However according to Digital Spy, the replacement may not be permanent, with only the jobs' duties being relegated to Larson-Green, as a reshuffling may actually be in the works.

Expect more developments within the Microsoft office in the coming weeks.
