Halo 5 hinted for Xbox One?
There has not been a lot of news since the announced of a Halo game coming out on the Xbox One. While the progress is expected to come out in 2014 and not as part of a launch title or any immediate titles after the release date, there has been a piece of news found by a Halo fan.
GamingBolt has found a tweet of a Halo 5 teaser on the Official Xbox Magazine, issue 105. In the image, it mentioned hopes of ore refined ideas that were previously introduced in the franchise, as well as new vehicles and enemies in the series.
The hint that this new Halo 5 franchise is coming on the Xbox One? "Halo 4 looked spectacular on the Xbox 360, an already ageing console, and we can't wait to see what 343 Industries is able to do with a whole new piece of technology at its disposal," according to the write-up in the magazine. Of course, just because the name used is Halo 5 does not necessarily mean that this is the final title of the game, so best to wait out for details from Microsoft or 343 Industries.

Resolution wars and controversy
As the release date of the Xbox One nears, there has also been controversies and talk of the odd resolutions that some of its upcoming games. Recently reported by a number of gaming websites, it seems that former IGN editor and journalist Jeremy Conrad has outed an interesting and rather alarming (for some) fact about the resolution of the Xbox One.
The two awaited shooter games that are said to be running at a much better resolution on next-gen consoles may not be all true. According to Gamepur, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 will only run on 720p, whereas these games will run at the promised resolution of 1080p on rival PS4.
Conrad went as far as tweeting that even Ryse, the Xbox One exclusive will also just run at 900p, while only FIFA 14, Forza Motorsport 5, and NBA 2K will run a the promised 1080p.
CharlieIntel.com has also added that the reason for the confusion and the apparent lack of public reporting about the matter is that the invited media who were able to try the FPS games on the Xbox One had to deal with an embargo.
But the main issue here, allegedly, is that there may be changes being done in Activision's side of the court, which is the reason why the resolution of the FPS games have not yet been released for the Microsoft next-gen console.
Microsoft and Activision still have a few weeks before they would have to announce clearly what Xbox One buyers should expect once they get their consoles.
