“xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” is not a sequel to the 2002 movie. Diesel missed out on the 2005 movie “State of the Union,” which is the sequel. Ice Cube played the lead role of Darius Stone in 2005 and the plot was mostly based on the power struggle in Washington DC.

Diesel has been sharing behind the scenes pictures from the production set and stills from his upcoming movie online. One of the pictures shows him using his motorcycle under water. The pictures tease more action and mayhem in the film.
