‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’: Ruby Rose shares fun photos with ‘beautiful cast mates,’ considers herself lucky
“Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose seems to be having a lot of fun with her “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” cast mates. Recently, the actress and DJ posted snaps on her Instagram account that included Vin Diesel, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Indian beauty Deepika Padukone.
“School photo. _ xXx what an amazing international cast. How lucky am I?,” wrote Rose in one of her Instagram posts.
In another photo, Rose considers herself and Tony Jaa as weirdos and “The Vampire Diaries” actress Nina Dobrev a babe.
In the third photo, Rose simply captioned it “my beautiful cast mates.” It is a collage of three photos featuring Padukone, Dobrev and Australian actress and musician, Toni Collette.
Rose recently wished her close friend Ellen Page a happy birthday with the sweetest message. In the message, Rose pointed out how Hollywood can be a cold place for newcomers and how Page helped her during troublesome times so that Rose would one day find her ground. Well, Rose did find her ground and is now going places.
She added that Page has proven herself to be one of the most loyal of friends. Canadian actress Page, who has starred in the "X-Men" series, made her sexuality public during a speech at the Human Rights Campaign’s “Time to Thrive” conference in Las Vegas in 2014. Late 2015, she confirmed she was in a relationship with surfer and artist Samantha Thomas.
On the work front, Rose dyed her hair green and had a complete makeover for her role as Adele in Vin Diesel’s “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” She has been extremely serious about her role in the new movie, probably keeping her mind busy with workouts and style makeovers after her breakup with long time girlfriend Phoebe Dahl.
Rose also hit headlines when she couldn’t control her frustration over Kanye West’s derogatory lyrics, which were aimed at Taylor Swift. She openly bashed West for his behaviour of late. She has distanced herself from West altogether.
