Young Jeezy Was Arrested for Assault: Defends Himself, ‘I Didn't Threaten to Kill My Son’
On Jan. 7 Young Jeezy whose real name is Jay Jenkins was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia for assaulting his 17-year old son Jadarius. The reports claimed that he intimidated his son saying: "I will kill you. I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you." "I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it."
But a new report suggests that the father-son argument never turned brutal, and the Jadarius's mother is just using Jeezy for some ulterior motive as he never threatened him. Tenesha Dykes, Jadarius' mother "is brainwashing the son against his dad and trying to squeeze every penny she can get from Jeezy," told a source to TMZ.
A source revealed to TMZ that Young Jeezy and Jadarius got into a dispute in Sept. 2012, but the threatening claims are not true. Allegedly the brawl that happened approximately 16 months prior to Young Jeezy's arrest, started while Jeezy was trying to make his son understand that he should not be egocentric or else he will throw him out of his house.
Jeezy states he "never hit, chocked, or dragged his son." However he does admit to pushing him but e denied the allegation of maltreating and threatening his son and claims the entire episode was a planned by his son's mother.
TMZ has acquired charging documents which state that Jeezy got into a clash with his son in a washroom and he pushed him on the shower door (made up of glass) subsequently the son's head got hit. Then Jeezy hit him in the face, pulled him into the bedroom, heaved him on the bed and beaten him.
"We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy," told Jeezy 's lawyer to TMZ.
