"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) airs a highly dramatic episode on Dec. 4, 2014. The segment focusses on the ongoing storylines involving Chelsea, Billy, Phyllis, Mariah and more. Things take an interesting turn as drama stirs up the lives of Genoa City residents. Here are few spoilers on the upcoming segment of "The Young and the Restless" [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

The last-aired episode opened with Phyllis announcing that she is going to reclaim everything that she lost when she was in a coma. She and Michael also spent a moment remembering Katherine Chancellor.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" actress Nicole Nadine made her "The Young and the Restless" debut as Gwen. Hilary introduced Gwen to Devon and told her that she is a conservative woman with depth. However, when the two meet up, she was nothing like she has been described by Hilary. Gwen and Devon got along well at the very first meeting and this left Hilary a little uncomfortable. Hilary was not too pleased seeing them enjoying each other's company.

Meanwhile, Neil, Hilary, Devon, Gwen and Lily met for a luncheon. Their secret was almost exposed when Lily questioned Gwen and Devon about their first meeting. Lily and Neil were not too convinced and suspected whether they are serious or not. In unexpected turn of events, at the end of the lunch date, Gwen ended up asking Devon out.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Mariah and Summer butt heads once again over Sharon, Phyllis and Faith. Michael and Phyllis had a heart-to-heat conversation, and Phyllis revealed her future plans. Kelly met Jack and sought answers to her questions. She immediately lashed out at him. Kelly accused him of betrayal and for making her fall in love with him.

Michael's doctor revealed that he has Stage III cancer and explained to him his treatment options. Phyllis made an unexpected visit to Jack at his office and drama ensued. The two argued about Kelly's involvement in their wedding arrangements.

Moving on to the Dec. 4 episode of "The Young and the Restless," TV Guide and We Love Soaps have presented a brief description of the upcoming episode. According to the reports, Phyllis returns to Jabot and she is expected to spice things up at her old workplace with her conniving ways. It is reported that she is going to "shake things up" when she reclaims her job. Fans must not forget that she almost stumbled upon Devon and Hilary when they were caught up in an intimate moment at the Jabot office.

Furthermore, the show delves into the love triangle involving Chelsea, Billy and Victoria. Knowing that Billy is the father of Victoria's baby, Chelsea is now concerned about her future with him. Billy's excitement about being around Katherine and his baby's mother is quite unsettling for her.

Meanwhile, Mariah and Kevin bond. She reveals her past to him. Furthermore, Mariah tries to convince Sharon to be there for Faith as her mother even if it's against Nick's will. Nick will be seen feeling alright and Adam feels threatened by Sage. "The Young and the Restless" Dec. 4 episode airs 12.30 p.m. on CBS.
