'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Aug 22 – 26: Adam’s world ends as he knows it; Victoria relies on Billy; Victor makes big sacrifice

Shocking twists and unexpected storylines hound Genoa City on the upcoming episodes of “The Young and the Restless” ("Y&R"). On Monday, Adam (Justin Hartley) turns his world upside down as he makes a decision about his plea. Spoilers hint that during this week’s run, Victor (Eric Braeden) makes an attempt to save Adam, but it will come at a huge cost.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) finally makes up her mind about her relationship with Travis (Michael Roark). She also finds herself opening up to Billy (Jason Thompson), which fans hope would lead the way to a rekindled romance. Other “The Young and the Restless” cast members who will appear on the Aug.22 to 26 episodes include Michael (Christian LeBlanc) , Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Summer (Hunter King), Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Jack (Peter Bergman) , Hilary (Mishael Morgan), Neil (Kristoff St John), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei).

CBS released a preview video for the Aug.22 episode of “The Young and the Restless.” In the trailer, Michael tells Adam, “This is what you’re going to tell him – not guilty by reason of insanity.” Elsewhere, Billy wonders to Phyllis, “What does Victoria have to do with this?” Pyllis says that Victoria went to Mexico to bring Travis back. Speaking of Travis, he lies on bed with Victoria and brings up an offer. “I’m going to ask you again,” he begins. “Victoria, come away with me.”

TV Guide reports that Tuesday’s installment focuses on Chloe as she begins to trust Kevin, while Nick assures Adam with a promise. Elsewhere, Nikki and Victor set aside their differences and work together for the sake of their family.

Wednesday’s run centres on Victoria as she confides in on Billy. Meanwhile, Jack and Phyllis share an intimate moment. Hilary, on the other hand, reveals Neil’s secret.

Wrapping the week on Aug.26, Summer struggles with a decision between the man she loves and her family, while Chelsea faces an unexpected problem. Elsewhere, Victor is willing to take huge risks to save a loved one.
