"The Young and the Restless" touches new heights of drama in its new episodes airing on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. The upcoming segments delve further into ongoing storylines and feature some major developments. The episodes focus on some of the popular characters including Devon, Hilary, Michael, Lauren, Neil, Adam Newman and more. Here are a few spoilers on the upcoming "The Young and the Restless" segments. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

The last-aired episode began with some drama between Adam and Sage. Sage made a frantic call to Adam and asked him to come home. When Adam arrived at the cabin, Constance revealed a big secret to him, thinking he was her grandson Gabriel. She told him that the murderer of Gabriel's father is Adam's father, Victor Newman.

Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon continued to search for Faith, who was later discovered by Dylan and Avery hiding in Dylan's coffee shop. The couple immediately informed Sharon, who rushed to be with Faith.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Ashley and Stitch continued to work on their project as they tried to hide their awkwardness. In a candid conversation, Ashley cleared the air with Stitch and requested him to go back to being friends.

Victoria and Billy butt heads over Katie's christening ceremony. When Victoria revealed that she was going to name their daughter Katherine Rose Newman instead of Abbott, Billy got very upset. However, they later settled on naming their baby Katherine Rose Abbott-Newman.

Moving on to Dec. 24 episode of "The Young and the Restless," TV Guide and We Love Soaps have presented brief descriptions, teasing exciting spoilers. According to the reports, Newmans, Winters and Abbotts come together to kickstart the celebrations.

Meanwhile, Hilary and Devon try hard to suppress their feelings for each other as family and friends surround them. The two struggle to keep their secret affair under wraps. As for Neil, he "surprises his family." In its weekly spoilers, Soap Central revealed that Neil "briefly sees the glow and a shadow" when Lily lights a Christmas candle. He also makes the big announcement, disclosing that he has enlisted himself for an "experimental procedure" at the hospital.

Furthermore, Michael makes arrangements for Lauren's future and Dylan opens up to Nikki. Victor pays a surprise visit to Sharon and Nick and Kevin makes a frantic call to Mariah for help.

According to We Love Soaps and TV Guide, the Dec. 25 episode of "The Young and the Restless" will see Genoa City residents celebrating Christmas Day. Some "unexpected events" on the joyous occasion will bring out the Christmas spirit in true light. "The Young and the Restless" Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 episodes air at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
