'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Dec 31: Ashley adds dramatic twist to Abby and Stitch’s wedding with a shocking confession
As the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless” wraps up for 2015, more drama, tension and revelations await the show’s fans. On Thursday, after interrupting the wedding, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will dust herself off and surprise the guests with a confession.
The episode will also feature Abby (Melissa Ordway), Stitch (Sean Carrigan), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Jack (Peter Bergman), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Neil (Kristoff St. John), Billy (Burgess Jenkins), Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) and Victor (Eric Braeden). [Spoiler Alert!]
TV Guide reports that on Thursday, Jack and Phyllis will be involved in a conflict, while Neil will ask Nikki for her help on something. After a frightful incident on the previous episode, Ashley will reveal a shocking news.
The soap posted a teaser video on its official YouTube channel, which shows three scenes from the Dec. 31 episode featuring Stitch, Ashley, Victoria, Jack and Billy.
In the first scene, Stitch is seen on the side of Ashley after she collapses and falls from her chair to the floor. Stroking her face, Stitch calls her, “Ash, it’s Ben. Can you hear me?” Ashley wonders if this is true and whispers, “Ben?”
The next part of the video shows Victoria and Jack talking. “He did mention he had some irons in the fire,” Victoria says. Jack replies that those irons are probably horses that did not win.
Billy is the focus of the last scene, as the bookie pushes him against the wall. “We’re doing this now!” the bookie says.
The Dec. 30 episode will be the show’s last run for 2015. On Friday, CBS will show an encore episode of “Y&R” from Dec. 31, 2014.
Soap She Knows says that in the early episodes of “The Young and the Restless” in 2016, Victor and Ashley will organise a gathering with family and friends to celebrate Abby and Stitch’s wedding. The newlyweds’ families will reportedly work out their differences to make sure that the couple’s relationship will not be tarnished by any family feud.
