“The Young and the Restless” had always been about trust issues and family problems, but in the past few episodes, it has focused on business interests and how it had affected relationships. Viewers are going to see that and much more in the next one as things spin out of control at GC Buzz, Fenmore’s and Newman Enterprises.
Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Young and the Restless” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.
Previously on Y&R , Devon Winters (Bryton James) was able to get the best out of Hilary Winters (Mishael Morgan) as he beat her in her own game. When Hilary arrives at GC Buzz, Devon tells her that he had freed up some money so that changes could be implemented. While Hilary is surprised that she did not get fired, Devon will reveal that she will be getting a co-host, which happens to be no other than Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he complained to Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) about his run-in with Jill Fenmore (Jess Walton ). Jill happens to own half of Fenmore’s and is now on full gear to mess up his deal with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey Bergman). They began speculating if Jill has plans to bring Lauren to court.
Later on, a warm mother and son moment un folds as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) apologises to Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Leabu) about embarrassing him earlier. This happens after Victoria learns that a meme about her being a witch has surfaced. However, this was actually made by Zoey (Annalisa Cochrane) and not by Reed. Later on, they invite each other to Jack White’s pop-up show in Chicago.
The episode synopsis by Soaps She Knows reveals that on this episode, Victoria will get challenged by her own father. Meanwhile, Jill will make a surprise announcement and will demand some answers from Colin.
Other spoilers reveal that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) will begin to wonder whether Hilary’s actions have already changed Devon’s mind by now. Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) will see a deeper side of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) which he has never seen before.
While Victoria and his son might be okay now, her father will think that his daughter needs some guidance. Now that he is inching back into Newman enterprises, he will be making himself more available to his children.
As for Jill, it will look like she had the winning edge from her desperation and she might announce the fruit of her efforts in the upcoming episode. However, considering present circumstances, her plans can backfire anytime.
This episode of “The Young and the Restless” will air on CBS in February 2 in the US. It will also air on Arena in Australia.
