''The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Jan 18-22: The pursuit to search and save Adam intensifies

"The Young and the Restless" ("Y&R") will feature Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Adam (Justin Hartley), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva), Noah (Robert Adamson) and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) in its action-packed episodes from Jan. 18-22. The main storyline of this week’s “Y&R” episodes is about Adam’s abduction, and how characters scramble to save him before it becomes too late.

Other “The Young and the Restless” cast members who will appear this week include Sharon (Sharon Case), Dylan (Steve Burton), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sage (Kelly Sullivan), Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush), Victor (Eric Braeden), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Jack (Peter Bergman), Billy (Jason Thompson), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Natalie (Mara McCaffray), Paul (Doug Davidson), Stitch (Sean Carrigan), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Max (Jared Breeze).

TV Guide reports that in "Y&R" on Monday, Mariah suspects something fraudulent is going on, while Luca tells Noah to stay away from Marisa’s life. Elsewhere, Chelsea frets over Adam’s whereabouts after he went missing.

On Jan. 12, Victor seeks help from Kevin, while a confrontation between Sharon and Dylan arises. Meanwhile, Nick and Sage wonder about Dr. Anderson’s true intentions.

Wednesday’s episode focuses on Victoria as she asks for a miracle, while Jack thinks he’s at fault with Billy’s latest condition. Victor, on the other hand, demands Natalie to confess about what she knows.

We Love Soaps reports that on Thursday, Dylan will take the initiative in figuring out where Adam is, while Stitch intervenes to maintain the peace between Abby and Max. Elsewhere, Paul does his own investigation on Billy’s accident.

Wrapping up the week on Jan. 18, the upcoming episode shows Victor and Chelsea teaming up to save Adam, while Adam attempts to escape from his abductors. Meanwhile, Victoria and Billy revisit their feelings for each other.

Fans are waiting to find out what happens to Adam after he went missing last week. Victor, after assigning one of his men to find out Adam’s whereabouts, received a report that Adam did not ride the Newman jet or checked in his hotel in Spain. Chelsea confronted Victor and demanded where Adam is. She wondered if this has something to do with the Santoris. Victor told her to stay out of it, and suggested that maybe Adam intentionally did not want to be found. Chelsea stood by Adam and dispelled any thoughts that he’s being unfaithful to her. In succeeding scenes, Victor was shown receiving a ransom e-mail that read, “Give us the girl, we give you your son.” Chelsea was also seen reporting to the detectives that Adam is missing.
