"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) star Michael Muhney is reportedly transferring to "General Hospital" (GH) after being fired for sexually harassing his co-star Hunter King. GH is another soap opera from ABC which holds the "Guinness Book of World Records" title for being the longest-running U.S. soap opera in production.

Last Dec. 17, 2013, Muhney tweeted about being fired from TVGN's "The Young and the Restless" soap opera. He used to play the part of Adam Newman/Adam Wilson in Y&R since 2009.

I'm so sorry. It breaks my heart to say this, but I was just let go from Y&R. My last day on set is this Thursday.

Muhney allegedly groped his 20-year-old co-star Hunter King that was why he was let go from the popular soap opera abruptly. A lot of his fans have reacted strongly to his removal from the show, even launching online petitions (Click HERE to see it) to bring him back on Y&R and threatening to boycott the show especially when Muhney's final scenes will be aired on Jan. 30, 2014.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, "General Hospital" has taken up some interest on Muhney and might want to get him to appear in their soap opera instead. However, there has been no word from GH, Y&R or Muhney about this latest development regarding his soap opera acting career.

But, a lot of "General Hospital" fans have commented about Muhney being a part of the cast of GH. They posted their comments on an online forum about GH.

"Since JFP just canned Michael Muhney at Y & R, since he's out at Y & R, it would be great for GH to pick up Michael Muhney one of the best actors in daytime right now to be a Jason Morgan re-cast," posted Terry_Gyimah on ABC's "General Hospital" online forum.

"He played Adam Newman on Y & R, he's an Emmy-Award winner, why not?" she added.

However other users on the ABC GH forum such as wildchild4evr and espikay are against the idea of re-casting the character of Jason Morgan in the soap opera, regardless if it will be Muhney or another actor.

Muhney has been awfully quiet about the whole issue especially the allegations about sexual harassment and being difficult on the set. His last tweet was on Jan. 7, 2014 and it was a comment about a quote from Benjamin Franklin. Check out his tweets.

Benjamin Franklin said it best, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see." — Michael Muhney (@michaelmuhney) January 7, 2014

...and that quote doesn't only apply to what is being said about ME. It also applies to others. Please be kind to everyone. #respect — Michael Muhney (@michaelmuhney) January 7, 2014

Will "The Young and the Restless" star Michael Muhney actually transfer to "General Hospital" after being fired for sexually harassing his co-star in Y&R? Since the allegations against him haven't been proven, then it's understandable why GH is suddenly interested in getting him for their show. Based on the reactions of his fans alone, it means that he has a loyal fan base out there that will go to great lengths just to see him back on TV.
